Mangaluru: The 21-days well-planned summer course at Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education concluded with rich display of talents by the participants here on May 21.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


The valedictory programme was presided over by the former principal of Sandesha Fr Jayaprakash Dsouza and Mayor Smt Jacintha Vijay Alfred was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion Mayor  appreciated the students and advised them to continue their learning on whichever fine art  subjects they are interested. She also asked parents to nurture the talents of their children and support them.
 
The participants were given training in Western Vocal, instruments like Guitar, Keyboard, drawing and painting, western dance and public speaking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


As many as 262 students participated in the 21-days camp which was the highest number in the 24 years of Sandesha history. Certificates were distributed to all the students and best students were given special prizes. Teachers and the Staff were also honoured on the occasion.

Fr Jayaprakash DSouza, former principal of Sandesha college of Fine arts, who is on transfer to Pompei college,  was honoured on the occasion.

The camp attracted participants not only from Mangaluru but also from various parts of Karnataka, like Bidar, Shivamogga, Bangalore, Kundapur and Kodagu.

Niyola Mascarenhas welcomed the gathering and  Christopher and Relvia compeered the programme.
