Media must be for truth and not for only profit

Sandesha Foundation, Canara Communication Centre and Daijiworld Media jointly organized Journalism Course being inaugurated on 16th July, 2018 at Sandesha Foundation,Mangaluru. Speaking on the occasion Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza, appealed to the participants to present just, truthful and factual matters to the people. He said “Media cannot be used only for profit or business”. The chief guest, Sri Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangalore South, appealed everyone to give fair and true message in the media so that people may not get biased about a person or locality. Mr Ravindra Shetty, the chief copy Editor of Vijaya Karnataka, cautioned the participants about ulterior motives of Media.

The Sandesha Director Rev Fr Nelson Dalmeida welcomed the dignitaries and Mr Walter Nandalike, Daijiworld founder thanked everyone. Mr Roy Castelino, the trustee of Sandesha, and Rev Fr Richard D’Souza, director Canara Communication Centre were present during the occasion.
